A few weeks back, my best friend Mallory and her oldest sister, Margeaux, asked if I would take fall family photos for them. I’m lucky in that Mal has been my best friend since we were little kids (she’s been on the blog before – check out photos from her bridal shower). We’ve been through so many ups and downs together, but this girl and her fam are a second family to me…so of course I had to say yes! It was also a miracle that everyone could get together and were free on the same day. You can’t pass opportunities like that up; when you have a large family, that almost never happens!
We met last Sunday at Mingo Creek County Park, on one of those sunny-but-freezing fall days. Russell and I have gone to star viewing parties at the park before, and I really enjoy some of the landscape. There are winding roads, covered bridges, walking trails, tall trees, and no shortage of beautiful fall color right now. The leaves are very close to peak, which is my favorite time of year!
We surely weren’t the only ones on Sunday. I was a little busy, but Russ told me that some guy stopped his truck and watched us for over 10 minutes. (I’m just going to pretend I’m an actual professional now, haha). I’d go back and shoot again at Mingo, it was the perfect place for what we wanted. So, without further ado, here are a few snapshots from the Traynor family fall photoshoot.
Ahhhh…sweet, sweet family memories. I’m so glad they asked me to be a part of this. Thank you ladies, and I hope you treasure these photos!!
